Anita Mae Green, 66, of Sterling, died Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020 at the Apostolic Christian Home in Rittman after a lengthy battle with Huntington’s Disease.
Anita was born Aug. 1, 1953 in Lodi to the late Sherman and Margaret (Davis) Green and awas a 1971 graduate of Norwayne High School. She had made her home in the Creston and Sterling and had been a member of T.O.P.S. Anita was always on the go having enjoyed walking and being with her family. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy and she will be missed.
Surviving are her children and their spouses, Ryan and Sandy Bauman of Ashland, Rusty and Natalie Bauman of Sterling, Ric and Jeffrey Bauman of Orrville and Rachel and Bill Roe of Orrville; 12 grandchildren and sisters, Carol and Dean Corp, Sue McCune and Jerry Dague and Joyce and Dennis McGuire all of Creston.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Mike and Chris Green.
Friends will be received on Monday, Jan. 6th from 5-8 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston. Anita will be laid to rest with family at the Jack Point Cemetery in Braxton County W.Va. at a late date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Huntington Disease Society of America.
