Abe D. Miller

Abe D. “Harness Abe” Miller, 77, of 7996 Township Road 565, Holmesville, died Monday, Dec. 2, 2019 at his home after a period of declining health.
Abe was born March 30, 1942 in Holmes County to the late David A. and Ella (Kurtz) Miller and married Anna J. Yoder on Nov. 6, 1962.  She preceded him in death on June 13, 1995.  He had been a harness maker all of his life and was a member of the Old Order Amish.
Surviving are his children, Daniel (Lydia) Miller of Loudonville, John Miller of Pinedale, WY, Paul (Ruth) Miller of Millersburg, Ella (Paul) Kauffman of Holmesville and Amanda (Wayne) Mast of the home; 22 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ben (Fannie) Miller of Dover, DE, Jacob (Esther) Miller of Millersburg, Crist (Verba) Miler of Apple Creek, John (Katie) Miller of Millersburg, David (Amanda) Miller of Apple Creek, Jonas (Edna) Miller of Fredericksburg and Dan (Emma) Miller of Millersburg; sisters, Rebecca (Noah) Troyer of Mt. Perry, OH, Emma Miller of Millersburg, Barbara Wengerd of Ashland, Seville (Uriah) Yoder of Dundee; brother-in-law, Henry Mast of Wisconsin and sister-in-law, Mable (Jacob) Stutzman of Oak Hill.
He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, a great-grandson, Charles Ben Miller, brother, Atlee Miller and sister, Alma Mast and Elmina Miller.
Services will be Thursday, Dec. 5th at 9:00 a.m. at the Wayne Mast Residence, 7996 TR 565, Holmesville with Bishop Crist R. Wengerd officiating.  Burial will be in the Raber Cemetery, Hardy Township.  Friends may call anytime at the Mast residence.  Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.
