Zoe Neile Greene

Zoe N. Greene, 96, of Creston, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2021 at Wooster Community Hospital after a brief illness.

Zoe was born Sept. 28, 1924 in Clay Co., WV to the late Alfred and Lula (Pettit) Rollyson.  On Aug. 29, 1946 she married Ralph F. Green and he preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 2006.  Zoe retired from Nabisco Brands in Seville after 28 years and had made her home in Creston since 1963. She enjoyed embroidering, quilting and doing crafts and was a wonderful cook and baker.

Surviving are her children and spouses, Frank and Gail Greene of Creston, Dale Green of Duck, WV and Sheila and Bob Goody of Creston; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, Lillie Gess, brothers, Korak, Iceland and Moreland and a sister, Lina.

At Zoe request,  private family services will be held on Thursday with burial in Creston Maple Mound Cemetery.  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com  Zoe will be remembered for her generosity in helping those in need.  Memorial contributions may be made to a local food program or shelter in her name.
