Yvonne (Mcconnell) Hoosier

Yvonne Hoosier, 81, of Wooster, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, June 18, 2022.

Yvonne was born on Jan. 20, 1941 in Akron to the late William H. and Mary Elizabeth (King) McConnell and graduated from Wadsworth High School.  On Dec. 24, 1963 she married Bill Hoosier and he preceded her in death on Nov. 26, 2021.  Yvonne had worked at Wayne County National Bank and the Berean Bookstore and enjoyed reading and crocheting.   She was a woman of faith who enjoyed caring for others, especially her family that she truly loved.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bill and her daughter, Collen on June 30, 2021 and is survived by her son, Gregory Hoosier.

At Yvonne’s request, there will be no services.  Memorial  contributions may be made to the Apostolic Christian Home, 10680 Steiner Road, Rittman, OH 44270.  Murray Funeral Home in Creston is handling arrangements.
