Yvonne Denise (Casteele) Daniels

Yvonne Denise Daniels, 58, of Apple Creek and formerly of Rittman, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Country Lawn Care Center in Navarre after a brief illness.

Denise was born Oct. 30, 1962 in Wadsworth to Charley and Hester (Hale) Casteele and was a 1982 graduate of Wadsworth High School.  On June 4, 1988 she married Thomas Scott Daniels and he preceded her in death on June 6, 2019.  Denise was a faithful member of Canaan Free Will Baptist Church where she had worked in the Nursery for over 25 years.  She enjoyed doing word searches and watching the Price is Right and old classic TV shows like Little House on the Prairie.  Always kind and loving, Denise was a people person who will be greatly missed.

Surviving are her daughters, Ashley Daniels and Chelsey Daniels and her fiancé’, Henry Miller; brother, Michael Hale of Virginia Beach, VA; sisters, Sharon (Ron) Wallace of Urbana, Beverly (Paul) Fraley of Mechanicsburg, Beth (Jim) McComas of Johnson City, TN, and Venita (Brian) Wolford of Wytheville, VA; her father-in-law, Paul Daniels of Rittman; sisters-in-law, Carol and Kimberly Daniels and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Scott, her parents, brother, Keith Casteele, sisters, Barbara Riding and Brenda Bollinger, her mother-in-law, Marcella Daniels and three nephews, Matt, David and Timmy.

Services will be Tuesday, May 11th at 11:00 a.m. at Canaan Free Will Baptist Church in Creston with Revs. James McComas, Aaron Justice and Jamie Fryberger officiating.  Friends may call Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the Church.  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com  Memorial contributions may be made to Canaan Free Will Baptist Church, PO Box 167, Creston, OH 44217
