Woodrow Jackson, Jr., 62, of Wooster, died unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 after a period of failing health.
He was born Oct. 25, 1954 in Wadsworth to the late Woodrow and Henrietta (Adkins) Jackson Sr. and had made his home in the area all of his life. He served in the U.S. Army from 1973-1975 and had been a truck driver. He was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 797.
Surviving are his daughter, Laura Jackson of Wooster; grandchildren, Peyton and Isaiah; his sisters, Carol McKinney and Jenivine (Randy) Tanner both of Creston and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Terry Jackson.
Friends may call Thursday, June 8th from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
