Wilma Lee Wilson Pelfrey

Wilma Lee Wilson Pelfrey, 71, of Dalton, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster after long and courageous battle.

Wilma was born in Wadsworth on Jan. 8, 1954, to Earl and Rose (Parsons) Wilson and is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Jennifer Pelfrey of Dalton; grandchildren, Aiden, Colton, Allison and Breanna; a sister, Betty Varner of Rittman and her companion of 28 years, Jeffrey Alfred.

She was preceded in death by a son, David Lee Fortner, her parents, Earl and Rose, a sister, Annajean Wilson and a brother, Danny “Tiny” Wilson.

Graveside services will be Thursday, August 21st at 11:00 a.m. at Creston Maple Mound Cemetery.  It was Wilma’s wishes for there to be no calling hours.
