Wilma Ann Lloyd, 77, of Parma passed away Friday, March 23, 2018 at Hospice of Medina County.
Born April 4, 1940 in Cabell Co., WV to Walter and Edna (Simpkins) Chapman, she had worked at Ford Motor and had done home health care, having cared for her father and Walt’s parents until they passed away. Ann always took in neighborhood kids and treated them as her own and enjoyed cooking, gardening and playing cards. She was a member of Unity Free Will Baptist Church.
Surviving are children, Michael (Michelle) Crockett, of Cleveland, Trina (Chris) Torgerson of Parma and Jerry (Missy) Crockett of Burbank; step-sons, Ricky (Sharon) Lloyd and Jimmy (Cindy) Lloyd both of Tennessee; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Bob (Mary) Chapman and Bill Chapman and a sister, Kay Ramey all of Huntington, WV; a special sister-in-law, Frances Chapman Parma and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter S. Lloyd on Jan. 31, 2017; brothers, Gary, Kenneth and James “White” Chapman and sister, Janice “Betty” Burton and Mary Lou Chapman.
Friends may call Monday, March 26th from 2-5 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home, 173 S. Main St., Creston, OH where services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Her nephew, Rev. Phil Chapman will officiate. Burial will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Medina, 5075 Windfall Road, Medina, OH 44256.
