William E. Edwards

William E. Edwards, 93, of Burbank, died peacefully on Friday, Jan. 19, 2018 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster.

He was born Nov. 22, 1924 in Black Lick, PA to the late William D. and Ann Irene (Redinger) Edwards and had been a truck driver having worked for Don Grimm Trucking. On April 17, 1984 he married Carolynne Lance Flory and he had made his home in Burbank for over 45 years. Willie was a charter member of the Gold Wing Motorcycle Club and enjoyed trucking, being with his family, watching wrestling and NASCAR.

Surviving are his wife, Carolynne; children, Charles (Betty) Edwards of Burbank, John (Connie) Edwards of Erie, PA, Carol (Curt) Dickens and Judy (John) Laboda both or Erie, PA, Mike Flory of Overton, Bobbi (James) Newbury of Apple Creek, Paul (Linda) Flory of Smithville and Josie (Brian) Sampsel of West Salem; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Jim Edwards of Florida, Jack Edwards of New York, Jerry Edwards of Tennessee and sisters, Faye Jarmolwicz of Erie, PA and Dottie Turner of New Springfield, PA. He was preceded in death by sons, Donnie, Billy Jr. and Philip Edwards; a brother, Roger Edwards; sisters, Katie and Grace and his former wife, Louise Edwards.

Services will be Tuesday, Jan. 23rd at 2:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston where friends will be received one hour prior to services. Burial will follow in Burbank Cemetery.
