Walter Owen Muller

Walter Owen Muller, 69, of Creston died Sunday, March 11, 2018 at his home after a period of declining health. Walt was born March 15, 1948 in Millersburg to the late Cletus and Mona Belle (Sheldon) Muller and attended Norwayne High School. He married the former Cheryl Davis on Feb. 24, 1973 and she survives. He retired from Jacobson Manufacturing in Medina and had made his home in Creston most of his life. Walt served on the Creston Fire Department and was a member of the Creston Moose Lodge, the N.R.A. and the Northern Ohio Draft Pony Assoc. Walt loved raising and showing ponies and horses, deer, turkey and coon hunting and raising a garden. His grandsons were his pride and joy. Surviving are his wife, Cheryl; son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Christina Muller of Creston; his four grandsons, Hunter, Briar, Owen and Wyatt; brother-in-law, Doug Davis of Seville; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Janice and Dan Bauman of Sterling and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Brett on Oct. 15, 2016, his parents and sister and brother-in-law Mary and Kip Martin. Friends may call Tuesday, March 13th from 5-7 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston where services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Pastor Tami Toothman-Shoup will officiate.
