Virginia Mae (Blough) Boggs

Virginia Mae Boggs, 82, of Seville, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Akron General Hospital with family at her side after an unexpected illness.

Virginia was born on Aug. 18, 1940 in Westfield Township to Milton Sr. and Marie M. (Long) Blough and was a graduate of Westfield High School.  On July 19, 1963 she married Richard “Jack” Boggs and he preceded her in death on May 25, 2005  She retired from Westfield Companies and had made her home in Seville for most of her life.  Virginia enjoyed gardening and Country Music and is remembered for her big heart and for her love of family.

Surviving are her sisters and brother, Sharyn Blough and James (Donna) Blough of Wadsworth and Mary (Scott) Stachler of Creston; brother-in-law, Gabe Kast of Rittman; sister-in-law, Phyllis Blough of Wooster; several step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews including special niece, Holly Hatten.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; her daughter, Tammy Boggs in 2022; step-children, Brett and Rick Boggs and Debbie Barnes, her parents, and brothers and sisters, Milton “June”, Donald, Clayton and Bruce Blough and Donna Kast and Eva Hatten.

Friends may call Tuesday, June 6th from 5-7 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home with a brief service following.  Interment will be at a later date at Creston Maple Mound Cemetery.
