Trevor Dale Baker, 26, of Shreve, lost his life on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2022 in Tampa, FL. Trevor died while doing what he loved, working for the family business, Baker’s Mobile Home Transport. Trevor was born on Aug. 13, 1996 in Wooster and was the son of Brian and Shallyn (Peppler) Baker. He graduated from Triway High School and began working at the family business. He was devoted to working hard and growing the business. Trevor enjoyed outdoor activities and motor sports. He loved driving Sprint Cars and over the past 10 years progressed from racing Mini Sprints to 410 Sprint Cars. He had raced locally and followed various circuits. Trevor had many friends across the county as well as a loyal following on Social Media and he is greatly remembered. Surviving are his parents, Brian and Shallyn and his brother, Chase Baker all of Shreve; his faithful companion and friend, Denali who went everywhere with him; his grandmothers, Elaine Baker of Shreve and Merry Ann Drouhard of Fredericksburg as well as aunts, uncle, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Dale Baker and Larry Peppler. Services will be Monday, Aug. 29th at 11:00 a.m. at Greystone Event Center, 50 Riffle Rd., Wooster, OH with burial following in Fredericksburg East Cemetery. The family will receive friends and family on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. at Graystone Event Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Trevor Baker Memorial Fund, 9525 Schaff Rd., Shreve, OH 44676. Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.
