Tina Marie (Waitkunas) Elser

Tina Marie Elser, 62, of Wooster, passed away peacefully on Friday, Jan. 3, 2025 at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster after a brief illness with cancer.

Tina was born on Sept. 29, 1962 in Goldsboro, NC to Robert and Judith (Carafelli) Waitkunas.  Tina was always caring and helping others, and she enjoyed reading and doing crafts such as diamond painting and making bracelets.  Tina loved Jesus and she enjoyed worshiping him though music and singing.  Her happy place was always at the beach, and she will be forever missed and always loved.

Surviving is her daughters, Tabitha Ramsier of Orrville and Erica and her husband Donald Plant of Wooster; grandchildren, Kendra Ramsier, Shylee Ramsier, Joliana Gibson, Aleah Gibson, Xavier Plant and Enzo Plant; 5 great-grandchildren; her mother, Judy Waitkunas of Wooster; sister and brothers, Debbie Sargeant of South Carolina, Bobby Waitkunas of Wooster and James Cottrell of Big Prairie and her fiancé, Rod Bolen of Wooster who truly loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Waitkunas and her brother, Jody Waitkunas.

There will be a celebration of Tina’s life to be held later.
