Timothy Joseph Hosfeld

March 19, 1957 — February 6, 2017

Timothy Joseph Hosfeld, 59, of Fredericksburg, passed away at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster on Monday evening, Feb. 6, 2017 after a courageous battle with Dementia. Tim was born March 19, 1957 in Massillon to Bernard and Lottie J. (Bissett) Hosfeld and was a 1975 graduate of Waynedale High School. Tim had worked for over 30 years at Smuckers in Orrville and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. He was an avid racing fan having been involved with the Wayne County Speedway and had sponsored numerous cars under the sponsor name of “Hoss Peanut Farm”. Tim loved animals, kids and music and wasn’t afraid to turn it up. He was the kind of person you could always lean on for help and will be missed and loved by many. Surviving are his mother, Lottie Hosfeld and his sister, Cindy Arnette and her friend Dave Steele of Fredericksburg; nephews, Bradly (Erica) Arnette and Brett (Becky) Arnette and great nephews and a great-niece, Alexis, Cohen, Brantley and Brenton. He was preceded in death by his father, Reverend Bernard Hosfeld in 2015 and his grandparents. Friends may call Friday, Feb. 10th from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg. A private family service will be held with Father Stephen Moran officiating followed by burial in St. Mary Church Cemetery.
