Timothy Blaine Garman, Jr., 53, of Wooster, passed away unexpectedly at his workshop while doing what he enjoyed on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025.

Tim was born on Sept. 7, 1972, in Massillon to Timothy Sr. and Bonnie (McPherson) Garman and was a 1991 graduate of Wooster High School. On July 26, 1997 he married Rachel Lynn Vance and together they were blessed with their two children, Weston and Macy who he was always very proud of.

Tim was with ODOT for the past 5 years and previously worked at Gertenslager’s in Wooster. For 30 years he operated his own business, Countryside Lawn Care. Tim was a member of the West Hill Baptist Church and had been a coach for Norwayne Youth Football and Norwayne Youth Baseball. He enjoyed sports, hunting and working on vehicles and equipment in his shop.

Surviving are his wife, Rachel; son Weston Garman and girlfriend Megan Fuller; daughter, Macy Garman and her fiancé’ Austin Ryder; his step-father, Tom Edgington; brothers, Duane Garman and Steve Garman; step-sister, Tammy Osman; his mother-in-law, Linda Vance; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bill and Michelle Vance; and Michelle and Erik Kato and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Edgington and his father.

Services will be Friday, Dec. 19th at 1:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating. Burial will be in Burbank Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 3-7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Breakthrough T1D (Type One Diabetes) PO Box 5021, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5021
