Timothy Dale Dockery

Timothy Dale Dockery, 70, of Creston, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2026, at Medina Cleveland Clinic following a period of declining health.

Tim was born on March 28, 1956, in Medina to Austin and Thelma (Bigham) Dockery and was a 1974 graduate of Cloverleaf High School. On Sept.13, 1975 he married Patricia Diane Detamore who survives. Tim retired from St. Thomas Hospital in Akron and had previously worked at Pro Arts and at Cletronics in Medina. Tim was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Rittman and enjoyed restoring vintage radios and working with electronics.

Surviving is his wife, Patricia; his mother, Thelma Cutright of Rittman; brother, Gary Dockery of Rittman; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Connie Huffman of Orrville, Mary Cutright of Lexington, NC and John and his wife Donna Detamore of Brunswick and nephews and nieces, Eric Dockery, Aaron Dockery, Chris Swart, Angela Williams, Jim Contessa and Christine Contessa.

He was preceded in death by his father, Austin Dockery; step-father, Charles Cutright; sisters-in-law, Peggy Sue Trygar and infant Joyce Deamore and brother-in-law, Clayton Cutright

Services will be Tuesday, Aug. 18th at 1:00 p.m. at Calvery Baptist Church in Rittman with Pastor Mike Lamar officiating. Burial will be in Freedom Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 12:00 noon until time of services at the church. Murray Funeral Home in Creston is handling arrangements.
