Thomas Ray Pertee

Thomas Ray Pertee, 69, of Rittman, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2020 at Akron City Hospital.

Tommy  was born June 8, 1951 in Wayne County, WV to the late Leonard Sr. and Elizabeth (Evans) Pertee and had made his home in the Rittman and Wooster area most of his life.  He had been self-employed in the construction and carpentry business and enjoyed fishing, golfing and playing the guitar.

Surviving are his two children, Elly (Christen) Howatae and Thomas Force both of Akron; his grandson, Joshua (Maggie) Krunich and great-grandson, Landen; brothers and sisters, Leonard Jr. (Margaret) Pertee and Jerry (Carolyn) Pertee both of Smithville, Michael (Janice) Pertee of Akron, Robert Pertee of Rittman, Ellen Morris of Wooster and Joyce (Jerry) Bowers of Florida and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, James A. Pertee and a sister, Phyllis Rastorfer.
