Thomas Richard Goody

Thomas Richard Goody, 65, of Sterling, passed away peacefully at home with his wife at his side after a battle with cancer.

Tom was born on March 14, 1958 in Wadsworth to Charles E. and Virgie Mae (White) Goody.  He graduated from Norwayne High School and worked at Quality Castings in Orrville for 45 years.  Tom loved riding his Harley, collecting arrowheads and collecting matchbox cars.  He enjoyed metal detecting, playing pool and mowing the lawn and he will be greatly missed.

Surviving is his wife, Theresa (Jorgensen) Goody; children, Katharine Goody and Bryan Goody; grandchildren, Jayden, Emma and Alanna Goody and McKenna Mick; a sister and brother-in-law, and brother, Vivian and Doug Potts; a brother,  Larry Goody; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Colleen and Dave Long, Vanessa Jorgensen and Meg and Tim Cole and nieces and nephews.

At Tom’s request, there will be no services.  Flowers and expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family home.
