Terry Deane Brink

Terry Deane Brink, 72, of Xenia, OH, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 7, 2024. He was born July 8, 1951, in Caro, MI. He was the son of the late Duane A. Brink and Carol R. (Baker) Simmons. Terry married Beth Ann Hammond on August 19, 1972, the mother of his two daughters. In addition to his parents, Terry is preceded in death by his brothers, Gary D. Brink and Thomas C. Simmons. Terry was a Vietnam War Veteran, serving as a Green Beret. After serving in the US Army, he was a truck driver by profession, traveling across the US. He enjoyed riding, building, and working on his Harley Davidsons and old cars. He enjoyed tinkering in his barn, fishing, and NASCAR racing. Terry is survived by his two daughters, Carrie (Rick) Yates of Xenia, OH, and Melissa (Doug) Miner of Wilmington, OH; 8 grandchildren Jarret McGlaun (Covington, KY); Cody Smith (Xenia, OH); Kelsie McGlaun (Lebanon, OH); Sydney Newell (Xenia, OH); Courtney Miner (Wilmington, OH); Kyle Miner (Beavercreek, OH); Caitlin Miner (Lebanon, OH); and Annalee Yates (Xenia, OH), siblings Wendy (Terry) Taylor and Glenna (Billy) Saxton, all of Tifton, GA. 5 great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends. There will be no services at this time. A private memorial services will be scheduled in South Boardman, Michigan at a later date.
