Tammy Sue Raber

Tammy Sue Raber, 55, of Creston, passed away peacefully in her sleep of an apparent heart attack on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.

Tammy was born on Sept. 14, 1970, in Wooster to Edward and Judy (Cecil) Gill and was a 1988 graduate of Norwayne High School. On Nov. 11, 1989, Tammy married James “JR” Raber and he preceded her in death on March 21, 2026. They are together again. Tammy worked at Buehler’s for 38 years having been a Produce Merchandise and she greatly loved her work and those that she worked with. She enjoyed Norwayne High School sports, especially Basketball, and she loved planting flowers and landscaping around her home with her husband Jim. Tammy was the planner of the many family vacations and her family was her greatest love, especially her grandson, Oliver.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Megan “MJ” Raber of Burbank; daughter, Megan Raber of Creston and her boyfriend, William Hutchinson; her grandson, Oliver Raber; her parents, Ed and Judy Gill of Creston; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Shannon Gill of Creston; her in-laws, Esther Raber of Berlin, Cindy and Dave Stefanski of Wooster and Fritz and Diane Raber of Dundee and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Services will be Saturday, April 11th at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Pastor Mark Davenport officiating. Friends may call Friday, April 10th from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
