Tammy Lynn Cooper

Tammy Lynn (Patrick) Cooper, 65, of Akron, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2026, at Aultman Hospital in Canton.

Tammy was born in Mansfield on Feb. 28, 1961, to Homer and Janice (Robinette) Patrick and attended Norwayne High School. She was a homemaker who loved caring for her grandchildren and loved doing crafts, especially diamond painting and beading and fishing. Tammy was a Ohio State Fan and was a member of the Moose Lodge.

Surviving is her husband, Walter Cooper; her daughter and daughter-in-law, Daralee Patrick and Janet Snitzer of Dalton; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Janet Phillips and Theresa Patrick of California and her brother, ChaChi Pittman of Akron.

She was preceded in death by her father, Homer; her mother, Janice Pittman and her step-father, Larry Pittman.

Friends may call on Saturday, Sept. 12th from 3-5 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston. In honor of Tammy's love for Ohio State, please dress casual and wear your Ohio State attire.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with Tammy’s final expenses.
