Talus Kain Reber

Talus Kain Reber, 25, of Creston, died unexpectedly at home on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026.

Talus was born on Sept. 19, 2000 in Medina to Terry and Tracey (Yost) Reber and was a 2019 graduate of Norwayne High School where he played soccer and was the team goalkeeper. He recently received his certificate for working in the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning field and was on a soccer league in Canton. Talus also enjoyed working out and running.

Surviving are his mother, Tracey Reber of Creston; his father, Terry (Stacey) Reber of Rowsburg; brother and sisters, Tyler Reber of Smithville; Morgan (Noah Wood) Reber of Cincinnati and Thera Reber of Lakewood; nephews and niece, Zane and Zander Reber and Ava and JR Wood; grandparents, Randy and Cheri Reber; Caulinbine Yost and Bobby Yost; aunts, uncles and cousins and many friends including his best friend, Jake Andrews.

A sister-in-law, Morgan Reber died previously.

Friends may call Monday, Jan. 5th from 4-7 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with a service of remembrance being held at 7:00 p.m. A family burial service will be at Creston Maple Mound Cemetery on Wednesday.
