Sylvia Jane Snook

Sylvia Jane Snook, 68, of Chippewa Lake, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026, at the Cleveland Clinic.

Sylvia was born on June 29, 1957, in Clay County, WV to Robert and Ruby (Ramsey) Schoolcraft. She had worked at several area nursing homes and enjoyed camping at Pleasant Hill and Charles Mill Lake. She also enjoyed fishing and doing crafts.

Surviving is her husband, Gary; sons, Eric Snook, Chris Snook and Dustin Snook; grandchildren, Jonathan Daniels, Elissa Schoolcraft, Christina Schoolcraft, Emily Snook and Caleb Snook; a brother, Bob and sisters, Barbara and Betty.

She was preceded in death by her son, Johnny Schoolcraft; her parents, brother, Henry and sisters, Leathie, Emmy, Joyce, Bonnie and Phyllis.
