Steven Dwayne Hines

Steven Dwayne Hines, 53, of Rittman passed away unexpectedly on September 28, 2026, after an apparent heart attack.

Steve was born on May 10, 1973, in Medina to Gary and Billie (Ogden) Farner and was a 1991 graduate of Northwestern High School. On July 9, 1994, he married Rhonda Hollen and together they shared 32 wonderful years together. Steve had most recently been working at the Avon Oaks Country Club as the assistant maintenance supervisor. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed hunting, playing with his dogs, and being around his family. He will be remembered as a guy who could fix anything and he would drop whatever he was doing to go help his family and friends.

Steve is survived by his wife, Rhonda; parents, Gary and Billie Farner; brother, Scott (Deanna) Farner; mother-in-law, Pat Hollen; brother-in-law, Ron (Becky) Hollen; many nieces and nephews; and his dogs Remington and Gus.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law Ron Hollen Sr.

At Steve’s request there will be no services.
