Stephen Matwiju, Iii

Stephen Matwiju, III, 72, of Burbank, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021 after a period of declining health.

Steve was born Aug. 26, 1948 in Akron to the late Stephen II and Dorothy Mae (Adkins) Matwiju and graduated from East High School and later from Akron University.  He was an antique dealer and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Burbank.

Preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Dorothy Rowles, brother, David Matwiju and his companion, James Packard, surviving are his nephew, David Rowles, II and family and several cousins and many friends.

Memorial services will be Saturday, July 10th at 3:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston.  Burial will be in Burbank Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to Trinity UMC, c/o 2525 E. Sterling Rd., Creston, OH 44217.
