Stella I. Jarrell

Stella I. Jarrell, 70, of Rittman, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Wooster Community Hospital.

Stella was born Aug. 23, 1947 in Inez, KY to the late Dewey and Ella (Mills) Crum and married Lindsey Jarrell on May 22, 1965. He preceded her in death on April 6, 2016. She retired from Morton Salt Co. in Rittman after 24 years of service and had made her home in Rittman since 1965. Stella attended Rittman Community Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed sing, watching John Wayne and Western Movies and loving on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are her children, JoLenna (Mike) Case of Creston, Jacquie Jarrell of Rittman and Jeremy (Courtney) Jarrell of Sidney; grandchildren, Jennifer (James) Johnson, Beth (Roy) Gass, Rebecca Case, John (Jackie) Case, Ian Laughlin-Jarrell and Ivy Laughlin-Jarrell; great-grandchildren, Zacharey Johnson, Lillian Gass, Evelyn Gass and Peter Case; a brother, Cecil Crum and a sister, Clista Bowen both of Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and 10 brothers and sister.

Services will be Thursday, July 12th at 11:30 a.m. at Rittman Community Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor John Castle officiating. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Thursday at the church.
