Stacy Fay (Pumphrey) Satterfield

Stacy Fay Satterfield, 38, of Massillon, passed away on Monday, Sept. 13, 2021 at Aultman Hospital in Canton from a heart related illness due to Covid-19.

Stacy was born on Nov. 25, 1982 in Wooster to Michael and Peggy Lynn (Bolen) Pumphrey and graduated from Wooster High School in 2001.  She graduated from Brown Mackie College and worked as a Geriatric Nurse in home care and nursing homes.   Stacy grew up in the Creston Church of God and attended Wooster Apostolic Pentecostal Church.  Her kids were the center of her life and she enjoyed bowling, playing Bingo, cooking and sports.

Surviving are her children, Jaxon and Olyvia both of the home; her parents, Peggy Pumphrey of Creston and Mike (Cindy) Pumphrey of Wooster; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Laura Pumphrey and their children, Kayla and Derek who were very special to Stacy; half-brothers, Michael and Ricky Pumphrey both of Wooster and her fiancé’, Shawn Fast whom she was planning to marry in October.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jason Satterfield on March 16, 2019.

Services will be Sunday, Sept. 19th at 5:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Pastor Josh Chaffin officiating.  Friends may call from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.  A family burial will be held on Monday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com  Contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with Stacy’s final expense.
