Shon Allen Brown

Shon Allen Brown, 56, of Wooster, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.

Shon was born on Jan. 8, 1969, in Dennison, OH to his mother Dixie Brown. He was a journeyman tool and die maker and had worked for Luk in Wooster. On July 27, 2013, he married Sharon Ickes and they had enjoyed the past 12 years together. Shon was a die-hard Pittsburg Steelers fan and in his free time he enjoyed fishing, camping, collecting vintage Marlboro memorabilia. However his greatest joys were spending time with his family and playing with his grandkids.

He is survived by his wife Sharon; daughter Macenzie Brown; step-children Kodie (Cierra) Spitler and Casey (Austin) Shaffer; grandchildren Camden, Kinley, Bexley, and Nyla; sisters Vicki Harris, Angela (David) Labuski and Brittany Jordan; brothers Shane (Tina) Billiter and Jason (Deedee) Nealey; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother, sister Tammy Billiter, his grandfather Harry Brown, who he thought of like a dad, and grandmother Iris Brown.

There will be a celebration of life held at a later date.
