Shirley Jeanette Morris

Shirley Jeanette Morris, 84, of Lodi and formerly of Seville, passed away peacefully while surround by family at Cleveland Clinic Akron General on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2026.

Shirley was born on Feb. 24, 1942, in Lewistown, Montana to Dow Jr. and Lena Marie (Crosier) George and married Robert F. “Bob” Morris in 1960. Bob preceded her in death on Feb. 19, 2019. Shirley loved her family, and she always worried about her kids. She enjoyed watching Westerns, she loved her sweets, and she will be missed by all who knew her.

Surviving are her children and their spouses, Jack and Joann Morris, Cathy and Mark Brumfield, Robert “Bo” and Pam Morris, Mark and Minnie Morris and Gene and Deborah Morris; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; brothers, Donnie George and Michael (Kim) George; sisters, Pam Runovitz and Carolyn (Mark) Phillips and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her daughter, Cindy Ferguson; grandson, Josh Morris, sisters, Patsy Simms and Doris Curtis and brothers, Ronnie, Kenneth, Charles and Randy George.

Services will be Friday, Nov. 6th at 1:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with burial following at Creston Maple Mound Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
