Shirley Ann Lelekacs

Shirley Ann Lelekacs, age 87, of Medina passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024 at Akron General Hospital while surrounded by her family after having suffered a stroke.  Shirley was born on May 18, 1936 in Damascus, VA to the late Ambrose and Margie Ann (McCarty) Richardson. She married George E. Lelekacs, Jr. on April 27, 1957 in Cleveland and they were together 62 years until his passing.  Shirley's favorite pastimes were playing bingo and cards, and for many years enjoyed fishing with George.

Surviving are daughters Debra (Melvin) Boone of Canton, Nancy (James) Ottenweller of Medina, grandchildren Suzanne Eagle, Erin Miller, Alexander Saletrik, Clayton Miller, great-granddaughter, Madison Eagle, and sister Carol Harold.

Services will be Monday, May 20th at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home located at 173 S. Main Street in Creston, OH with burial following at Creston Maple Mound Cemetery.  Friends may call Sunday, from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
