Sherlyn Kay Myers, 67, of Wooster, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018 at the Cleveland Clinic after a sudden illness.
She was born March 18, 1951 in Wadsworth to the late Monroe and Barbara (Burger) Miller and attended Central Christian High School and Wooster Business College. She married Dennis D. Myers on Sept. 1, 1972 and together they were active in running the Poultry Dept. at the Wayne County Fair for 30 years and were member of the Ohio Poultry Breeders Assoc . She had retired in 2014 from the College of Wooster and enjoyed crocheting, quilting, traveling and riding with Dennis of his motorcycle. Sherlyn truly enjoyed life and will be greatly missed.
Surviving are her husband, Dennis; children, Lisa (Chris) Webb of Wooster and Jon Myers of Canton; 5 grandchildren, Tony and Gavin Webb, Jon and Brooklyn Myers and Jadan; brothers and sisters, John Miller of Wadsworth, Jim Miller of Seville, Martha (Ray) Scaggs of Rittman, Gloria (Don) Johnson of Vero Beach, FL, David (Lori) Miller of Gray, TN, Timothy Miller of Seville, Eunice Boyes of Rittman and Pamela (Bob) Lyon of Florida and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister, Janice.
Services will be Thursday, April 26th at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston where friends may call Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com Memorial contributions may be made to the Wayne County 4-H Scholarship Fund, 428 W.
