Sharon Lee (Collins) Beckwith

Sharon Lee (Collins) Beckwith, 79, of Wooster, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024 at Burbank Parke Care Center after a period of declining health.

Sharon was born on January 6, 1945 in Lodi and had made her home in the Wooster area all of her life.  On June 7, 1986 she married Jeffery L. Beckwith and he preceded her in death on May 5, 2021.  Sharon had worked as a nurses’ aide and as a housekeeper at Hampton Inn.  She enjoyed cooking, reading, garage sales and nature, especially the birds, but her greatest love were her grandsons and great-grandkids.

Surviving are her children, Jeffery Scott (Jefferson Depiazza) Collins, Crystal Lynn Sigler, Rodney Sigler, Laura M. (Paul Jr.) Arms, and Steven Richard (Kisha) Bursani; grandsons, Justin Miracle, Bryan Miller, Nathan Miller, Blake Miller and Nicolas Bursani; great-grandchildren, Aunalise, Keegan, Zoey, Braxton, River, Thea and Rylee Miller; brothers and sisters, Phil (Linda) Grier, Cindy (Lloyd) Eshler, Bruce (Hazel) Grier, Debbie (Bill) Anderson and Randy (Karon) Grier and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jeffery  Beckwith and  Justin Eugene Sigler, infant son, Gerald Eugene Sigler; her mother and step-father, Lois Collins Grier and Charles "Gene" Grier, a brother, Richard Grier and a sister, Tami Grier.

Services will be Friday, Aug. 2nd at 2:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with burial following in Creston Maple Mound Cemetery.  Friends may call on Friday from 12:00 noon until time of services.
