Sally Ann Stebbins, 95, of Creston, died Monday evening, Jan. 7, 2019 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster after a brief illness.
Sally was born Oct. 30, 1923 in Cleveland to the late Morris V. and Leota (Harman) Coleman and was a lifelong resident of Creston. She graduated from Creston High School in 1941 and from Ohio Wesleyan in 1945. On Jan. 24, 1944 she married Charles E. Stebbins who preceded her in death on Sept. 12, 2004 and together they enjoyed traveling, collecting antiques and wintering in Florida. Sally enjoyed baking and was a wonderful homemaker. She was a faithful member of Creston Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are her 5 children, Harry C. Stebbins, James C. (Sandra) Stebbins, Patricia J. Stebbins, Edward C. (Jeanette) Stebbins and David C. (Susan) Stebbins; and her 8 grandchildren, Mark (Ashley) Stebbins, Micah (Brandy White) Stebbins, Rebekah (Arie) Andersen, Miles (Lauren Elkins) Stebbins, Nathan (Abigail Franks) Stebbins, Olivia Stebbins, Sarah Stebbins and Katherine Stebbins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and a grandson, Phillip Stebbins.
Services will be Friday, Jan. 11th at 2:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with burial following at Creston Maple Mound Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services on Friday.
