Ruby Yoder Hochstetler

Ruby Hochstetler, 69, of 8503 Fredericksburg Rd., Fredericksburg died Monday evening, Oct. 10, 2016 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster following a courageous battle with cancer. Ruby was born Sept. 8, 1947 in Mount Ayr, IN to William C. and Anna Mae (Anderson) Yoder and married Daniel A. Hochstetler on Sept. 18, 1969. He survives. She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish. Surviving are her husband; daughters and sons-in-law, Anita and Maynard Miller and Lori and Les Miller both of Fredericksburg and Leah and Wayne Shetler of the home; 9 grandchildren, Marcus, Josh, Leanna, Emma, Hailey, Ian, Isaak, Anne and Becca; a brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Neva Yoder of Apple Creek and sisters and brothers-in-law, Wilma and Gary Shetler and Millie and Jake Chupp both of Holmesville. She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Anthony and a brother Jerry. Services will be Thursday at 9:00 a.m. at the residence with Bishop Joe M. Yoder officiating. Burial will be in Graber Road Cemetery. Friends may call anytime at the residence. Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements. The family extends a special thanks to Dr. Paul Masci and his staff, the nurses at Wooster Community Hospital and to the LifeCare Hospice staff for the wonderful care and support give to Ruby and to the family.
