Roy Clifford Perry

Roy Clifford Perry, 65, of Lakewood, WA, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2025 at Orchard Park Health Center in Tacoma, WA after a lengthy illness.

Roy was born in Lodi on Feb. 16, 1959 to Walter and Janet (King) Perry of Creston and was a 1977 graduate of Norwayne High School.  He served in the U.S. Navy from 1977 – 1997 and retired in Washington where he later worked in the Commissary at the Joint Base Lewis-McChord Amy Base.  Roy had enjoyed camping and doing Sudoku and Crossword Puzzles.

Surviving ae his children, Kenshiro, Koshiro and Monika; brothers and sisters, Walter Jr. and Rozanne Perry, Jonathan Perry, Clara and David Wolgamott, Jean Pittman, William Perry and Kenneth and Melanie Perry; nieces and nephews and a dear friend, Janet Johengen.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walt and Jan Perry.

Services will be Monday, Feb. 24th at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with his niece, Pastor Jill Perry Arriaga officiating.  Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.  Friends may call Sunday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
