Ronald Henry Damato

Ronald Henry Damato, 79, of Seville, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, after a brief illness.
He was born on April 13, 1947, in Elmhurst, IL to Henry and Marie (Izzo) Damato. Ronald served in the U.S. Army from 1966 – 1968 and on Sept. 14, 1968,married Rose Fatta. Rose preceded him in death on Nov. 24, 2022. Ron had worked in the construction business and was a master carpenter. He enjoyed caring for others as well as for animals.
Surviving is his son and daughter-in-law, Nicholas and Kimberly Damato of Westfield Center and a grandson, Hunter Damato.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose, a son, Ronald in 2016, his parents, brothers, Ralph and Richard and a sister Mary.
Ronald will be interred at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville with Military Honors.
