Roger Lee Barnhart

Roger Lee Barnhart, 64, of Rittman, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021 in the comfort of his home after a lengthy illness.

Roger was born on March 3, 1957 in Steubenville to the late Charles and Trixie (Nolan) Barnhart and married the former Wilma Lee Robinett on May 26, 1984. They have made their home in Rittman for the past 37 years.   He was a certified Journeyman and worked as a millwright for Bekaert Corp. in Orrville for 23 years.  Roger served in the the Army National Guard for 6 years and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.  He enjoyed fishing, attending Southern Gospel Concerts and spending time with kids.

Surviving is his wife, Wilma; children, Brian (Mary) Warner of Orrville, Shannon Foster of Rittman, Stephanie (Peter) Marcinak of Creston, Angie Compton of Wadsworth and Scott Warner of Rittman; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ralph (Barbara) Nolan of Cowen, WV and a sister, Susan (Bob) Hunter of Follansbee, WV.

He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Brian Foster, his parents, 3 brothers and a sister.

Services will be Tuesday, Nov. 23rd at 1:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 7605 Pleasant Hill Rd., Sterling with Pastor Stephen Olsen officiating.  Burial will be in Rittman Cemetery.  Friends will be received from 12:00 noon until time of services at 1:00 p.m. at the church.  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com  Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Dr., Uniontown, OH 44685 or to  Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
