Raymond McKinley Frary, 64, known to all as “Rocky”, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 with his loving family at his side.
Rocky was born in Wooster on April 13, 1962, to William and Shirley (Henry) Frary and grew up in Creston. He married Denise Artman on July 17, 1992, and they built a beautiful life together near Burbank. Rocky worked for B.W. Bolin Trucking before recently retiring and attended Calvery Chapel in Mansfield and North Life Baptist Church in Wooster. Rocky enjoyed riding motorcycles, NASCAR racing and watching his grandson, Lucas play basketball. Time spent with family was always special and he will be greatly missed. Above all, Rocky loved the Lord and never missed an opportunity to tell others about Jesus and all He had done in his life.
Surviving is his wife, Denise; his daughter, Zenny Renee Frary; grandson, Lucas E. Frary; brothers and sister, Doug Henry, Rob Frary, Andrea Durham, Todd Caldwell, Curtis Frary and Gary Herncane and nieces and nephews.
Rocky was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Caldwell; his father and step-mother, Bill and Betty Frary, a brother, Mike Herncane and an infant sister, Deborah Frary.
Services will be Monday, Aug. 10th at 2:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Pastor Harley Snode officiating. Burial will be in Creston Maple Mound Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 12:00 noonuntil time of services at 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Rocky’s memory to Pivot Boys Basketball Ministries, 3136 Aspen Dr., Wooster, OH 44691.
