Roberta M. Huffman

Roberta M. Huffman, 81, of Wooster, went home on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017 at the Wayne County Care Center after a period of declining health. Roberta was born Sept. 11, 1935 in Somerset, KY to Robert and Helen (Harper) Baker and married David Huffman II in 1965. He preceded her in death on May 31, 1993. She had made her home in the Wooster area for over 50 years and attended West Hill Baptist Church. Roberta enjoyed playing Bingo and cards and attending the Garden Club at the County Home and was a wonderful Mother. Surviving are her daughters, Sue Huffman and Peggy (Ron) Miller both of Wooster; grandchildren, Lyndsey Miller, Kinner Huffman and Megan Forinash; a sister Juanita Stewart of Clearwater, FL and special nieces and nephews who she help raise. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, David “Sam” Huffman III and a brother Ron Baker. Services will be Thursday, March 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg with Rev. Eric Fairhurst officiating. Burial will be in Fredericksburg East Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
