Roberta Rae "Bobbie" (Adkins) Anderson

Roberta Rae “Bobbie” Anderson, 55, of Seville, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2021 at the Cleveland Clinic after a brief illness.

Roberta was born on Jan. 27, 1966 in Akron to Ray and Rita (Damron) Adkins and graduated from Pike County High School in Kentucky.  She honorably served in the U.S. Army from Dec. 1986 – Dec. 1989.  On Feb. 18, 2006 she married Ronald J. Anderson and they had resided in Seville and for a few years in North Carolina.  Bobbie worked at Michael Day Enterprises in Wadsworth and formerly worked at the Medina County Clerk of Courts.  She enjoyed going to the Creston Moose Lodge, camping, swimming, reading, canning and she loved music.

Surviving is her husband, RJ; sons, Roman and his wife Jessica Burk of Wadsworth, Lee Burk of Colorado Springs and Jacob Anderson of the home; 4 grandchildren, Angel, Aubrey, Orin and Adelaide; her mother, Rita Adkins of Creston; a brother, Michael and wife Trisha Adkins of North Carolina; sisters, Beverly Adkins and Lesa and her husband James Robinson both of Creston; her mother-in-law, Martha Anderson of Wadsworth and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her father, Ray “Bobby” Adkins and sisters, Susan Woodring and Laura Chaney.

Services will be Monday, Dec. 6th at 11:30 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Rev. Dennis Elkins officiating.  Burial with military honors will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.  Friends may call on Sunday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.  Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
