Robert Dale Smith

Robert Dale Smith, 61, of Wooster, passed away on Friday, Oct. 15, 2021 at Wooster Community Hospital after a period of declining health

Born in Akron on July 22, 1960, he was the son of the late Fonzo D. and Roberta M. (Helmick) Smith.  He attended West Hill Baptist Church in Wooster and enjoyed going to the Wayne Co. Speedway, fishing, collecting Hot Wheels and spending time around the fire pit.

Surviving is his wife, Lucinda; children, Robert D. Smith Jr., Crystal D. (Brian) Gardner, Kimberly J. Smith, Savannah N. Smith. Joshua Williams and Jessica Williams; grandchildren, Lilyana Smith and Jayden, Alexander, Julian and Brian II Gardner; sisters, Janet Scott and Connie (Carl) Dunbar and nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a celebration of life on Saturday,  Oct. 23rd from 11:00 a.m.-4:00  p.m. at Barberton First Baptist Church, 254 6th St., NW, Barberton.  In lieu of flowers, donation may sent to GoFund Me Account
