Robert Lee Shafer

Robert Lee Shafer, 62, of Clinton, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024 with his loving wife and daughter at his side following a brief illness with cancer.

Bob was born on Sept. 6, 1962 in Amherst to David and Mary Ann (Milac) Shafer and attended Wadsworth High School.  He married Kathleen Ondrik on Sept. 7, 1996 and they made their home in Clinton for the past 17 years previously residing in Wadsworth. Bob worked at Eco Seal for the past 30 years and was man that could fix and repair anything with wheels.  He loved riding his Harley with his many friends, and he enjoyed his salt water fish tank, landscaping around his home and N Scale train set.  Bob was a member of the Antique Motorcycle Club and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Surviving his wife, Kathy; his daughter and son-in-law, Natasha and Sean DiSanza of Rittman; granddaughters, Charlie and Ivy; his mother Mary Ann her husband Bob Huffman of Wooster; his brother, David Shafer of Creston and many friends.

Bob’s request was that there be no formal services.  A celebration of his life will be held later.
