Robert C. Schlabach

Robert C. Schlabach, 87 of 6660 State Route 241, Millersburg, died Friday afternoon, August 7, 2020 at his home following a period of declining health.

He was born June 9, 1933 in Holmes County to Allen C. and Susanna B. (Kuhns) Schlabach and married Ada M. Weaver on March 28, 1957 who survives.  He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

In addition to his wife Ada, he is survived by six sons and three daughters, Sue Ellen Schlabach, Roy (Ruth) Schlabach, Carol Schlabach and David (Lisa) Schlabach all of Millersburg, Betty Ann (Allen E.) Miller, James (Mary Ann) Schlabach and Matthew (Ina) Schlabach all of Holmesville and Dennis (JoAnn) Schlabach and Mark (Rebecca) Schlabach both of West Union; 35 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; a brother, Arleigh (Arie) Schlabach of Millersburg and a sister-in-law, Ada A. Schlabach of Millersburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, Michael Schlabach; brothers, Solomon (Alta E.) Schlabach and Albert V. Schlabach and sisters, Alta C. and Nora V. Schlabach.

Funeral services will be Monday, Aug. 10th at 9:00 a.m. at the family home with Minister Roy J. Miller officiating.  Burial will be in Honey Run Cemetery in Hardy Township, Holmes County.  Friends may call anytime at the home.  Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.
