Robert J. Popovic

Robert J. Popovic, 75, of Seville, passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Medina Hospital after a period of declining health.

He was born Aug. 14, 1945 in Cleveland to the late George and Eleanor (Anger) Popovic and married his high school sweetheart, the former Barbara J. Rex on Oct. 10, 1964.  Mr. Popovic was a retired car dealer having owned and operated Any Auto.  Robert was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the North American Fishing Club and he enjoyed hunting and car racing.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara of 56 years.  He was the loving and affectionate Dad to his three daughters, Valerie A. Sayre  (John C. Sayre), Laura L. Samples (Robert D. Dodrill) and Shelly L. Popovic (Ryan Brown);  grandfather of Jessica Samples, Vanessa Workman, the late Preston Early, Dillon Early, Kent Sayre, Kristian Sayre, Heidi Sayre and Jeremiah Icke;  great-grandfather of Hunter, Connor and Parker Workman; brother of Joseph (Peggy) Popovic, Dwight (Patty) Popovic, Carol (Donald) Webb and Loretta (Bruce) Kreiger and brother-in-law of Kitty Popovic.  He was preceded in death by brother, George Popovic and grandson, Preston Early.
