Robert E. Lloyd, 50, of Seville, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018 after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Bob was born Dec. 3, 1967 in Wadsworth to Joseph and Betty (Collins) Lloyd and was a 1986 graduate of Cloverleaf High School. He married the former Karen Shella on Aug. 31, 1991 and she survives. He had owned and operated Rancher Trucking in Seville and had made his home on the family farm all of his life. He was a proud member of the National Pole Bending Assoc. and was a part of the Barrel Racing Community. His passion was always farming and he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are his wife, Karen; his four children, Brody, Brock, Brennen and Jozie all of the home; his parents of Seville; brothers, Dan Lloyd of Seville and Ed (Fonda) Lloyd of Houston, TX; special nephew and niece, Danny Lloyd of Wooster and Emily (Andrew) Schmidt of Apple Creek and a host of family and friends.
A celebration gathering will be Saturday, Feb. 3rdfrom 2-6 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Medina, 696 Lafayette Rd., Medina, OH.
