Robert F. "Bob" Morris

Robert F. “Bob” Morris, 87, of Seville, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster.

Bob was born Jan. 2, 1932 in Dille, WV to Gene Craft and Lilly Hanshaw and was raised by his grandparents, Dwight and Genevieve Morris. He married the former Shirley George in May 1960 and they had made their home near Seville for the past 44 years. He retired from Ohio Dept. of Transportation after 28 years and enjoyed watching Westerns, working on cars with his son and caring for the little farm house where they lived.

Surviving are his wife, Shirley, children, Jack (Myra) Morris of Belington, WV, Cathy (Mark) Brumfield of West Salem, Cindy (John) Ferguson of Creston, Robert “Bo” (Pam) Morris of Lodi, Mark (Minnie) Morris of Wooster, Gene (Deborah) Morris of Creston and Jimmy (Ruth) Morris and Billy Morris both of Sutton, WV; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and a brother, Terry Hanshaw of Mt. Pleasant, WV.

He was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Morris and sisters, Donna West and Nadine Griffit.

Services will be Saturday, Feb. 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with burial following in Creston Maple Mound Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com
