Rick L. Shane

Rick L. Shane, 62 of Creston, died Tuesday morning,  Aug. 11, 2020 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster after having lived with a long term injury.

Rick was born in Wooster on Feb. 23, 1958 to Harvey and Carol (Boss) Shane and was 1976 graduate of Norwayne High School.  He had worked at Seville Bronze and at Advance Bronze and enjoyed participating in tractor pulls and farming.

He is survived by his 2 sons, Dwight Lee (Billie) Shane of Creston and Stephen (Shelly) Shane of Medina; 2 grandsons, Tyler and Evan; his mother, Carol Shane of Creston; 2 sisters, Cheryl (Bruce) Koch of West Salem and Laurie (David) Boley of Creston and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Harvey.

Services will be Saturday, Aug 15th at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Rev. Mike Gladson officiating.  Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of services on Saturday.
