Rick D. Meade

Rick D. Meade, 53, of Creston, died Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Akron City Hospital following a sudden illness.

Rick was born Sept. 30, 1962 in McDowell, KY to the late Hallard and Loraine Meade and was raised by his aunt, Callie Meade Gibson after his mother died. Rick worked as a mechanic for Burge Trucking for the past 12 years and enjoyed being with friends and family, motorcycles and working on cars. He will be greatly missed.

Surviving arehis beloved girlfriend, Betty Hicks with whom he live and a host of family including the Marion Meade and Tivis Meade families and the Gibson family.

Friends may call Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston where services will be conducated at 7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Rittman Cemetery.
