Richard Allen Myers

Richard Allen Myers, 70, of Wooster, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 24, 2023 at Wooster Community Hospital.

Rick was born on June 2, 1953 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Melvin and Helen Jane (Saylor) Myers.  He graduated from Norwayne High School in 1972 and served in the U.S. Navy from 1972-1979 having served during the Vietnam War.  He had worked at Lake Auto Care in Wooster where he always enjoyed talking to customers and friends.  Rick shared his life with Lynn Sanders for 30 years until her passing on March 28, 2020.

Rick is survived by nieces and nephews as well as his grandson, Blaine Sanders.

Committal service and military honors will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 11th at 2:15 p.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Please meet at cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
