Richard Lee Isaac, 75, of Rittman, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, at AlterCare of Wadsworth after a lengthy illness.
Richard was born on March 27, 1950, in Louisa, KY to Sam and Clara (Webb) Isaac and graduated from Fort Gay High School. On Sept. 23, 1983, he married Donna Faye Moore, and she survives. Richard retired from the Packaging Corporation of American in Rittman with over 36 years of service and had made his home in the Doylestown and Rittman area since 1969. He enjoyed gardening and hunting and had been the school crossing guard at Sunset Dr. and Metzger Ave. in Rittman and would often dress up as Santa Claus.
Surviving is his wife, Donna; his children, Dottie Winkler; Richard Jr. “Bo” and his wife Jessica Isaac and Samantha Miller all of Rittman; grandchildren, Jennifer and her husband Ryan Morrison, Mackenzie Isaac, Payton Isaac, Ally Cyrus, Damiane Miller and Brooke Miller; great-grandchildren, Bella Maynard and baby Morrison to arrive soon; brother and sister and their spouses, Truman and Bernita Isaac of Rittman, Judy Isaac of Fort Gay, WV., Christina and Billy Cox of Rittman and Dottie and Tony Spitaleri of Norton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, John Miller.
Services will be Thursday, Nov. 6th at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Pastor Jeff Ball officiating. Burial will be in Rittman Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with Richard’s final expenses.
